From I - 40 West
* take exit 298-B South Saunders Street North.
* Follow McDowell Street (right lane) toward Downtown Raleigh.
* At the fourth light (after you've gone under the Western Blvd. Ext.) turn Right onto South Street.
* Take an immediate right into the NCAE parking lot.
* NCAE is on the corner of South and Salisbury Street.
From I - 40 East -
* take 440 beltway towards Downtown Raleigh /left onto I 40,
* take exit 298-B South Saunders Street North.
* Follow McDowell Street (right lane) toward Downtown Raleigh.
* At the fourth light (after you've gone under the Western Blvd. Ext.) turn Right onto South Street. Take an immediate right into the NCAE parking lot.
* NCAE is on the corner of South and Salisbury Street.
From Route 70 West -
* Stay on Glenwood Ave. until you get to Morgan Street.
* Turn left onto Morgan and proceed to Dawson Street.
* Turn right onto Dawson and go six blocks.
* Turn left onto South Street.
* After the stoplight, take an immediate right into the NCAE parking lot.
From Route 64 East -
* Come into Raleigh on New Bern Ave (no turns) which becomes Edenton Street.
* Turn left onto Dawson Street (you will have passed the State Capitol and the History Museum).
* Proceed seven blocks, and turn left onto South Street.
* After the stoplight, take an immediate right into the NCAE parking lot
From Route 1 North -
* Take Downtown Blvd. which becomes Dawson Street. You pass the Round Clarion Hotel,
* Cross over Hillsborough Street, continue on Dawson, you will see the Raleigh City Gov. building on your left, a fire station on your right and a park on your left.
* Proceed and just as you go two more blocks you will go under an overpass and then
* Turn LEFT onto South Street.
* Go one block and after the light crossing McDowell street
* Turn right into the NCAE Center.
From 64 West/ or 1 South -
* Once on the Raleigh Beltway (440/US1) you will go under Walnut Street at the Cary Cross Roads,
* you will proceed into Raleigh and take the Western Blvd. exit toward NCSU and Shaw Univ.
* You will see the McKimmon Center on your right, and as you proceed you will see part of the State campus on your left and then you will see WRAL TV station, and then Pullen park.
* You will see Dix hospital on your right and Central Prison on your left,
* continue on Western Blvd. You come to a new intersection and you will
* take McDowell Street Exit (right) toward downtown Raleigh.
* At the light turn right onto South Street and
* an immediate right into the NCAE parking lot.
