The North Carolina Association of Educators is the political and advocacy voice for public school educators, students, and parents in North Carolina.  NCAE works at the state level with all three branches of government – Governor and other executive branch departments, the North Carolina General Assembly, and the courts – to make public education a top priority in lawmaking and budgets as it is required by the North Carolina Constitution.

NCAE also advocates for legislation, revenue, and appropriations at the federal and local levels that provide stable funding and opportunities so that North Carolina children are guaranteed the  sound basic education promised to all students in North Carolina, including at-risk pre-kindergarten children.

Educators, students, parents and the public are invited to visit this page often and learn how we can work together to continue building a successful North Carolina public school system that meets the needs of all students and a changing North Carolina economy.
