Raleigh, NC - The North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) is proud to congratulate former North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper on his election to the United States Senate. 

“We are ecstatic to congratulate Roy Cooper on becoming North Carolina’s next Senator," said NCAE President Christina Cole. "He has been a tireless advocate for public schools, educators, and our students. Time and time again Cooper has proven that he’s willing to put people over politics and do what needs to be done to improve the lives of working class families, children, and everyone in the Tar Heel State. We congratulate and celebrate his victory, a victory for all North Carolinians."
