Our political engagement work is fueled by educators coming together to elect pro-public education candidates and hold them accountable to ensure North Carolina has great public schools.

Private School Vouchers

NCAE believes that every child in North Carolina, no matter their race, income, or zip code, should have a high-quality education, an excellent teacher, and a great local school. However, private school vouchers stand in the way of that goal.

2023-24 Legislative Agenda

NCAE is North Carolina leading voice for children, families, and the public schools they count on. Through our advocacy on behalf of children and the development of excellent education professionals, NCAE is leading a movement to build excellent public schools, and our focus for the 2023-24 Legislative Session is on our students.
