Private School Vouchers

NCAE believes that every child in North Carolina, no matter their race, income, or zip code, should have a high-quality education, an excellent teacher, and a great local school. However, private school vouchers stand in the way of that goal.

Immigrant and School Safety Toolkit

Our schools, our neighborhoods, and our communities deserve safety, stability, and dignity — not fear. We commit to building a Black, Brown and white working-class coalition that stands shoulder-to-shoulder to protect our public school families and defend the community.

Immigrant Safety Resource Guide

Across North Carolina, educators are witnessing renewed efforts of immigration enforcement that create fear and instability for students and their families. Educators are seeing the direct consequences of heightened immigration enforcement, students losing parents to detention and deportation, and families living in fear. These actions tear at the fabric of our school communities and violate the principle that every child deserves safety and belonging at school.
